The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown is currently seeking to fill two full-time Residence Life Coordinator positions.  Each Residence Life Coordinator will supervise and provide leadership for an area comprised of 3 to 5 residential communities housing 750 students and management of approximately 20 paraprofessional staff (Head Resident Assistants and Resident Assistants) members. Residence Life is a vital function in providing up close and personal extracurricular student development opportunities to help prepare our students for the real world following graduation.

The Residence Life Coordinators will live on campus and collaborate with leaders within the Student Affairs division to meet the developmental needs of all residential students. The Coordinators supervise student staff, serve as a University judicial hearing officer, and provide on-call assistance to the residential campus.  Positions will report to the Assistant Director of Residence Life.

  • Student Residence Life and Wellness Coordinator
In addition to the above duties, the candidate will work under the direction of the Assistant Athletic Director to promote and implement engaging wellness activities to the student population.  This would include traditional exercise classes and more non-traditional activities that increase the physical activity, movement, and well-being of our students.
  • Student Residence Life and Engagement Coordinator
In addition to the above duties, the candidate will work under the direction of the Director of Student Engagement and Activities to implement campus engagement activities to provide fun and developmental extra-curricular campus activities.  Includes coordination of international student activities and international student orientation.
