First-Year Residence Halls

Maple Hall, one of five first-year residence halls.

All first-year students are housed in one of the five residence halls (Hemlock, Hickory, Laurel, Maple, and Oak). These facilities are designed to maximize student interaction and to promote group activities.

The living accommodations are designed in a two-room suite arrangement; each room has a private vanity and an adjoining bathroom, shared by both rooms. Students are responsible for cleaning their own bathrooms. Each room comes with a microwave/refrigerator unit.

The halls feature:

  • study areas
  • recreation room with a TV, pool table, ping-pong table, and foosball table
  • large lobby area with a working fireplace
  • laundry room in the basement
