Classes for the 2017 Fall Term (September through December) have not yet been announced.
By that time, you will have set up your fall schedule (see No. 14), bought your books (see No. 16), and are ready to start your freshman year. The schedule that you will have made during the summer Orientation (see No. 13) will be based on the requirements for your particular major (or General Education requirements for Undecided students).
If any last minute adjustments need to be made to your class schedule, there is a chance for you and your academic advisor to make them. This is done during ADD/DROP period. Adding or Dropping a class should not be done without the assistance and approval of your academic advisor! Making changes to your schedule may cause problems that may impact your ability to make appropriate academic progress.
During the fall, you will again have an opportunity to work with your academic advisor to set up your schedule for the Spring Semester (January through April).
