Symposium for the Promotion of Academic and Creative Enquiry

The Symposium for the Promotion of Academic and Creative Enquiry, SPACE, is Pitt-Johnstown's annual undergraduate research conference. It provides a forum for Pitt-Johnstown students from all disciplines to present their research, creative or scholarly projects to the campus community.


SPACE 2016 will take place on Wednesday, April 13, from 12:45-5 p.m., in the Living Learning Center.

 12:45 - 1:30 p.m.   

Oral Session I

1:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Poster Session I

2:30 - 3:15 p.m.

Oral Session II

3:15 - 4:15 p.m.

Poster Session II

4:15 - 5:00 p.m.

Oral Sessions III

During the event, students from every discipline on campus are given the opportunity to share the results of their class projects, independent study projects, senior projects, internships and creative works as talks or poster presentations or performances. 

Registration deadline is Monday, March 21, 2016, at 5 p.m. 

In 2015, more than 200 students from across campus participated in SPACE.
