This book focuses specifically on Bogota, Colombia, whose swift growth in the last decades embodies events, stories, migration trends, and new lifestyles that contribute to the development of the most recent history of the city. While this project places literature at its core, this study also includes interdisciplinary research that concentrates on the transformation of the city. Dr. Bernal is also the author of the book Bogotá: realidades, delirios y ficciones (2016).
Dr. Bernal's courses: Contemporary Latin American Literature, Latin American Topics, Literary Translation, and Spanish for Special Purposes.
