The Humanities division also offers three broad humanities degrees.

Students may use the thematic cluster to focus on a single subject area, such as art history or philosophy.

In addition, students may choose a broad humanities baccalaureate degree program (see box on the right).

  • 100% of the 2013 English literature graduates found employment or earned admission to graduate school.
  • Humanities alumni enjoy highly successful careers in areas including publishing, public relations, sales and marketing, education, law, government, films and television, and freelance work.
  • Students majoring in communication, journalism, and professional writing are encouraged to serve a 3- to 12-credit internship designed to provide field experience in the major.
  • Faculty use the latest innovations in digital media and software within the curriculum.
