Travis Stouffer joined the Pitt-Johnstown faculty in 2013 as an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems. The courses he teaches include: Intro to Business Information Systems, Web Development, Mobile Application Development, Project Management, Graphic Design, and Hardware/Operating Systems. Prior to joining Pitt-Johnstown, Travis taught for two years as an adjunct at Penn Highlands Community College and one year as an adjunct at Pitt-Johnstown.
In 2009, Travis earned a Masters of Science degree in Engineering Management from Robert Morris University. Before that, his undergraduate studies began here as he is a 2004 Pitt-Johnstown alumnus with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Minor in Mathematics.
During his time as a Pitt-Johnstown student, Travis interned at Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), which turned into a full-time Software Engineering position for him. He spent 9 years at CTC delivering technical solutions to clients until becoming part of the Pitt-Johnstown family once again. He continues to work at CTC as a part-time Software Engineer enabling him to stay current in the technology field and bring applicable scenarios/experiences back into the classroom.
