Mr. Petyak has more than 35 years of experience in public accounting and private and public companies. He was the manager of the Audit Department and assistant vice president and controller for Crown American Corporation and Crown American Realty Trust, a publicly held real estate investment trust. In addition to his accounting duties, Mr. Petyak has developed and presented training programs on accounting and internal control topics, been involved in several debt financings and the Initial Public Offering of Crown American Realty Trust, and managed programs involving real estate tax appeals and recoverable cost audits.

Mr. Petyak was the accounting manager for Cresson Community Bank for 5 years before coming to Pitt-Johnstown.

Mr. Petyak has also been an adjunct professor for Mt. Aloysius College in Cresson, PA and St. Francis University in Loretto, PA.

He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, a board member and classroom volunteer for the Cambria/Somerset Chapter of Junior Achievement, Treasurer and board member of the Portage Area Development Association, and a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs Speakers Bureau.
