President Spectar is pleased to announce the promotion of Ms. Therese Grimes, Executive Director of Enrollment Services, to Associate Vice President of Enrollment Services. Ms. Grimes will continue to oversee the Admissions and Financial Aid offices for campus. In addition, she will now supervise the Marketing and Communications Department and the Web Manager. Ms. Grimes led the Admissions team to the second highest incoming class in campus history this fall and has been a leader of the Marketing Team and Web Team for the past year.
Ms. Karla Kitner, Human Resources Specialist, has been appointed Coordinator for Human Resources. Since joining Pitt-Johnstown in July 2005, her responsibilities have continued to expand. She currently supports all HR functions including counseling and orienting new employees regarding benefit eligibility, reviewing and processing Payroll and Benefits, and supporting the Staff Recruitment & Hiring Process.
Additionally, Ms. Natalie Bombatch, hired as Marketing and Communications Specialist in April 2013, is promoted to the position of Coordinator of Marketing. In addition to her responsibilities in marketing and communications, she has also led specific projects as a member of the Marketing Team, and served as a member of the Web Team this past year.
