UPJ07_070_w240

For many individuals who aren't familiar with the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, a visit to campus can be love at first sight. Brochures and websites offer a glimpse of the UPJ experience, but nothing beats being here in person.

We often say that UPJ can help you navigate your future. We'd like to begin helping you navigate the UPJ campus.

You're always welcome to visit. We encourage anyone considering UPJ to contact our office to arrange a tour of campus. Whenever possible, it's best to visit when classes are in full session, so you can get a better sense of the pace of college life, the campus atmosphere, and have an opportunity to meet students and faculty.

We've listed the various options for your campus contact. But don't think you're limited to one visit. We're always happy to have you back, and follow-up visits can be just as rewarding.

Campus Visit Options

The next best thing to visiting the campus is to take a virtual tour of campus.  The link below will allow you to take a self directed virtual tour of our campus.  It's a great introduction to the campus that doesn't require any driving time.

If a personal visit is for you, we are happy to offer a guided tour of campus. Both self directed as well as student directed, the guided tours of campus will offer you a first hand look at what Pitt-Johnstown has to offer.

Weekday campus visits provide the best opportunity for personalizing your campus visit. Following a student directed tour that typically include 2-3 families, you can meet one-on-one with a member of the Admissions staff to talk about admissions requirements, programs of study, or any other questions you might have.

Summer brings with it plentiful opportunities to visit college campuses. Our Friday Morning Reception Programs allow you to talk with admissions representatives and current students,  take a campus tour, and even get in a little shopping at the campus bookstore.  These programs are specially designed to help students entering their senior year of high school prepare for the college selection process. Click below to find out more information and for the dates of these receptions.
