High School Special Program - Part-time

In evaluating applicants for the "High School Special" Program, the Admissions Committee looks for academic talent, the maturity necessary to be successful in a college course, and support from the high school, the school district, and the student's family.

To apply for participation in the "High School Special" Program, students should take the following steps:

• Complete the "High School Special" Application. 

Please visit the Registrar's Office page for a UPJ Schedule of Classes and choose the specific course(s) you would like to take and any alternate choice(s).  You must indicate your preferences on the application for admission.

• Supply official high school transcript with PSAT and/or SAT and/or ACT scores included.
• Supply three letters of recommendation; one letter should be from the Guidance Counselor.
• An interview with a member of the Admissions staff is recommended but not required, unless specifically indicated by the Admissions Office.
