Early Admission Program - Full-time

The full-time Early Admission Program at Pitt-Johnstown is for students that are, with the approval of their school administrators, graduating from high school earlier than the standard four-year timeframe. These students are reviewed as regular freshmen applicants, with the same application and criteria for admission being applied. If you are interested in the freshmen applicant requirements or applying online, please refer to the handy links on the right side of this page. Though they are treated as incoming freshmen, there are a few additional admission requirements that Early Admission applicants must fulfill, as seen below:

Additional Requirements:

  • Student must submit AT LEAST three quarters of grades from their junior year
  • An admissions interview is REQUIRED
  • 3 letters of recommendation must accompany the application, including one from a guidance counselor
  • A letter from either the principal or superintendent giving their support and guarantee that a high school diploma will be granted

If there are any additional questions about the Early Admission program, please feel free to contact the Pitt-Johnstown Admissions Office at 1-800-765-4875.
