The Civil Engineering Technology Program (CET) offers four areas of concentration - Construction, Environmental, Structural / Foundation, and Transportation. One or more of these concentrations must be satisfied before graduation. Curriculum choices for the four-year and the five-year plan (for those who elect to reduce their term course load) are outlined in the pages that follow.

The Engineering Technology Division provides Co-op opportunities using the Cooperative Education Program in the School of Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. Representatives from the Co-op Program in Pittsburgh visit the Johnstown Campus twice a year. Sophomores and juniors who are interested in the Co-op Program can obtain materials in the Engineering Technology office. The Co-op Schedule is also outlined in the pages that follow.

Requirements for UPJ students (non-CET majors) who elect to minor in Civil Engineering Technology or Land Surveying are outlined in the pages that follow. Also outlined on pages that follow are a four-year plan and a five-year plan for those who elect to reduce their term course load.
