Previously Earned College Credits

At Pitt-Johnstown, we want to create a schedule that reflects your abilities and interests, in order for us to do that it is imperative that we are aware of all college classes for which you have received credit.

 

ADVANCED PLACEMENT CREDITS

If you have taken or will be taking any Advanced Placement Exams (AP Exams), please be sure to have your scores sent to Pitt-Johnstown.  A general overview of Advanced Placement Exam scores can be found at the AP Guidelines page. If you would have any further questions, please contact the Registrar's Office at 814-269-7055.

 

COLLEGE CREDITS & COLLEGE IN HIGH SCHOOL

If you are currently enrolled in a course or courses for which you will receive college credit or if you have already received college credit for one or more courses WITHIN the Pitt System, including College in High School, your credits will automatically become part of your Pitt, and Pitt-Johnstown, record.

 

If you are currently enrolled in a course or courses for which you will receive college credit or if you have already received college credit for one or more courses OUTSIDE the Pitt System, including College in High School Credits, it is YOUR responsibility to transfer those credits.  An official transcript, mailed from the college or university, is required for evaluation and transfer of credits.  YOU must request that an official transcript be sent to the following address:
