By attending six programs of your choice within four semesters, you'll be awarded this certificate during the Spring semester. Topics of our workshops, programs and sessions include:

WHY LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT?

• Meet New People - By participating, you will be able to make new friends with other UPJ students who share the same interests.
• Strengthens a Sense of Belonging - When students involve themselves in the University, they feel more attached and tend to care more about UPJ.
• Explore Your Interests - More than 70 Student Organizations exist on campus, which allows for a variety of interests. Students can explore their interests or create new ones with like-minded others.
• Gain Experiences in Teamwork, Communication and Leadership - Build your resume through opportunities offered by Organizations that will enhance the skills that employers look for.
• Secure References - Make contacts through Organizations who you will be working with and who will be able to give you good references in the future.
• Improve Time Management Skills - When you get involved in many activities, you have more things to juggle and your time management skills improve.
• Shows Well-roundedness - Involving yourself in the University community shows your employers that your skills extend beyond the classroom and that you are well-rounded in many characteristics.
