Where can I get a PIN?You can only request a PIN online at www.pin.ed.gov. When requesting a PIN, you will need to provide your name, Social Security Number, date of birth, and home mailing address or your email address. If you provide an email address, you will receive a response via email which contains a link to your PIN. If you do not provide an email address, you will receive your PIN through your regular mail service.
