     05/07/08...Head Coach Todd Williams' Mountain Cat baseball team slipped one spot to #4 in this week's North Atlantic Region when the NCAA Division II Regional poll was released on Thursday.  Pitt Johnstown, 35-17-1, dropped a pair of games at last weekend's WVIAC Tournament.  The top six teams in the North Atlantic Region in Sunday's final rankings will earn berths in next week's NCAA North Atlantic Regional Tournament.  Rankings are based on games played through May 4... (Full Story)

ATH07_019_ManginiDan_TMountain Cats Eliminated From WVIAC Tournament With 10-1 Loss to West Virginia State
     05/02/08...Dan Mangini (Lower Burrell, Pa.) collected three hits, but West Virginia State belted a pair of three-run homeruns off of Ben Watkins (Johnstown, Pa.) en route to a 10-1 win in Friday's elimination game of the 2008 WVIAC Tournament at the Point Stadium.  The Mountain Cats, who went 0-2 in the tournament, are now 35-17-1.

DelSignore, Plummer Garner First Team Honors
     05/01/08…Seven Mountain Cat baseball players were named to 2008 All-West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) Teams, including seniors Dan DelSignore (Johnstown, Pa.) and Adam Plummer (Bellwood, Pa.), who were named to the First Team when the teams were released on Thursday.
