     04/29/12...The Mountain Cats split a doubleheader at Shepherd (WV) University to close out the regular season on Sunday.  Pitt-Johnstown won the completion of Saturday's suspended game, 12-7, but suffered a 14-12 loss in game two.  Kyle Morrow (McVeytown, Pa.) homered twice and Drew Westover (Flinton, Pa.) and Jeff Campbell (Brackenridge, Pa.) added homers for the Mountain Cats, now 24-25 overall and 17-17 in the WVIAC North... Miller 9th in 3-Point FGs, Grubbs 9th in FG%, and Fratz 43rd in Scoring
     03/24/12...The Pitt-Johnstown men's and women's basketball teams were ranked among the NCAA Division II leaders when the final 2011-12 statistics were released on March 24. Senior center Patrick Grubbs Turtle Creek, Pa.) was ninth in field goal percentage, and junior guard Jordan Miller (Vinco, Pa.) was ninth in 3-point field goals per game for the Mountain Cats, who led the country in 3-point field goal percentage and personal fouls per game, while freshman guard Kaitlynn Fratz (Accident, MD) ranked 43rd in scoring for the Lady Cats...      03/10/12...Dave Fogle (125 lbs.) (Summerhill, Pa.) reached the semifinals before placing third to lead a group of four Pitt-Johnstown wrestlers who became All-Americans for the first time at this weekend's 2012 NCAA Division II National Tournament at the University of Colorado-Pueblo.  In addition, Nathan Link (149 lbs.) (Cressson, Pa.) finished fourth, while Zach Lundgren (157 lbs.) (DuBois, Pa.) and Travis McKillop (174 lbs.)      02/27/12...Cold shooting, including just 16% in the second half by the Lady Cats, allowed the University of Charleston (WV) to overcome a seven-point second half deficit and end Pitt-Johnstown's season with a 56-51 victory in Monday's First Round of the WVIAC Tournament in the Sports Center.
