Asst. Coach Brian Galiote

ATH07_272_AC_BrianGaliote     On May 23, 2007, Pitt Johnstown named former Mountain Cat soccer player and Johnstown, Pa. native Brian Galiote assistant men’s soccer coach. 
     The 2007 season will be the first collegiate coaching season for Galiote, who spent the last four years as an assistant coach for the Conemaugh Township Area High School girl’s soccer program in Davidsville, Pa.  While a member of the Conemaugh Township coaching staff, Galiote helped guide the team to three District 5 titles and one runner-up showing.  
     Prior to his experience at Conemaugh Township, Galiote served as an assistant girl’s soccer coach at Bishop McCort High School in Johnstown, Pa. in 1994 and 1995, where his teams earned spots in the playoffs each season.
     Galiote is a 1989 graduate of Bishop McCort High School and a 1993 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where he played soccer at both the high school and collegiate levels.  While at Pitt Johnstown, Galiote earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management.  
     Galiote can frequently be found volunteering his time teaching skills training, team strategy and overall player development, to local high school teams, travel teams and individual players.
