Jami Oaks ties School High Jump Record at West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcat Invitational 03/22/07...Senior Jami Oaks (South Fork, Pa.) placed first in the High Jump and tied the outdoor school record with a jump of 5'4" to lead the Pitt Johnstown track team at the West Virginia Wesleyan College Bobcat Invitational on Thursday. Oaks's jump tied Julie Harklerode's outdoor school record set on April 11, 1998 at the Juniata College Invitational. In addition, Oaks finished second in the Long Jump with a jump of 15'7". Senior Jill Maurer (Johnstown, Pa.) took first place in the 400m with a time of 65.54, while sophomore Alicia Zack (Irwin, Pa.) placed second in the 200m with a time of 30.04. Freshman Deborah Beaver (Millerstown, Pa.), sophomore Julie Pennesi (Latrobe, Pa.) and freshman April Maritz (Vandergrift, Pa.) placed third, fourth and fifth, respectively in the 200m for Pitt Johnstown.
