Area Coordinator - First Year Area

The Office of Housing and Residence Life at UPJ is looking for a new team member who is an enthusiastic, intelligent professional who values interaction with students and enjoy opportunities to collaborate with faculty and staff on important initiatives that fulfill the University’s and department’s mission. 

The Area Coordinator will supervise and provide leadership for an area comprised of 300-350 first year students and 8-9 paraprofessional staff.  The Area Coordinator will collaborate with leaders within the Academic and Student Affairs divisions on projects and programs designed to meet the academic and developmental needs of first year students.

To be eligible, candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Higher Education (or closely related field) and have previous live-in experience. 

Salary of $27,000 - $30,000, a comprehensive benefits package, meal plan, and single-occupancy, on-campus, furnished apartment.
