Pitt-Johnstown Student Organization to Hold Fundraiser for Local Organizations

The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Circle K will hold its second annual Kids Fun Day with face painting, games, crafts, and storytelling from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 24, at the Johnstown Galleria Mall in the former American Outfitters store. 

The event will complement this year’s Circle K district project Promote Literacy Amongst Youth (PLAY) and donations will be given to various local organizations.

Founded in 1927, the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown is a four-year, degree-granting college of the University of Pittsburgh.  The university offers more than 40 majors and is known for its engineering technology, education, humanities, and natural and social sciences degree programs.  UPJ has been ranked “Third in the North” amongst public comprehensive colleges and universities, northern region, by U.S. News and World Report, America’s Best Colleges, 2007.
