Alicia Zack's Hat Trick Leads Women's Soccer To 3-1 Win Over Davis & Elkins
     10/11/06...
Freshman midfielder Alicia Zack (Irwin, Pa,) scored three goals to lead Head Coach Crystal Dye's women's soccer team to a 3-1 home victory over Davis & Elkins (WV) College, Wednesday afternoon.  Pitt Johnstown has won six of its last seven matches and is now to 8-2-0 on the season.
Zack put Pitt Johnstown up 1-0 off of assists from Kellie Stevens (Davidsville, Pa.) and Alyssa McKinney (Pittsburgh, Pa.) at 15:55, before giving Pitt Johnstown a 2-0 lead with an unassisted goal :54 later.  Davis & Elkins cut the lead to 2-1 on Brittany Milbourne's goal at 43:58 of the first half.  However, that's as close as the Senators would get.  Zack completed the hat trick and set the final score at 3-1 with another unassisted goal at 75:30.
Pitt Johnstown goal keeper Anna Yarnall (Allentown, Pa.) made all seven saves on the scots on goal she faced and improved to 8-2-0.
With the loss, Davis & Elkins dropped to 3-11-0 on the year.
Pitt Johnstown travels to Mansfield University on Saturday, before returning home to host the University of Charleston (WV) on Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
