Women's Soccer Hammers Columbia Union, 10-1
     09/17/06...For the second staright day, Head Coach Crystal Dye's Pitt Johnstown women's soccer team earned a lopsided win.  After defeating Gallaudet (D.C.) University, 9-0 on Saturday, Pitt Johnstown dealt Columbia Union (MD) College a 10-1 loss on Sunday.  Freshman middle hitter Alicia Zack (Irwin, Pa.) followed up Saturday's hat trick with three more goals and an assist to help Pitt Johnstown improve to 4-1.
     Pitt Johnstown built a 5-1 halftime lead on Zack's hat trick and sophomore midfielder Alyssa McKinney's (Pittsburgh, Pa.) pair of goals, before adding five more unanswered goals in the second half.
     Freshman midfield Krysten Medzie (Clearfield, Pa.) collected two goals, while Kellie Stevens (Davidsville, Pa.), Chrissy Burnsworth (McKeesport, Pa.) and Lindsay Plowman (Apollo, Pa.) chipped in one goal each.  Freshman midfielder Kristin Kelly (Bethel Park, Pa.) had four in the victory.
     Junior goalkeeper Anna Yarnall (Allentown, Pa.) raised her record to 4-1-0 with the win.
     Pitt Johnstown returns home to host Mount Aloysius College on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. and La Roche College on Sunday at noon.
