Soccer Teams Ranked In National Statistics 10/13/09...The Pitt-Johnstown men's and women's soccer teams and several individuals were ranked among the NCAA Division II statistical leaders when this week's national statistics were released. Senior goalkeeper Craig Neff (Elizabethtown, Pa.) ranked 47th in save percentage, while freshman forward Lindsey Roessler (Chalfont, Pa.) ranked 38th in assists per game. Statistics were based on games played through October 11... (NCAA Men's Soccer Stats) (NCAA Women's Soccer Stats) Neff ranked 47th in save percentage at .792 and 88th in goals-against-average at 1.513, while freshman forward Derik Swope (Harleysville, Pa.) was 98th in goals per game (.54) and 99th in points per game (1.31). As a team, Head Coach Eric Kinsey's Mountain Cats ranked 61st in save percentage (.778), 77thshutout percentage (.29) and 92nd in team goals-against-average (1.54.) For the Lady Cats, Roessler was 38th in assists per game at .50. The Lady Cats, under Head Coach Jim Herlinger, ranked 10th in scoring offense (3.33 goals per game), 82nd in goals-against-average (1.163) and 85th in shutout percentage (.333). NCAA statistics are scheduled to be released weekly throughout the 2009 season.
