The 2006-07 season marks the 18th for Deb Yesenosky as an assistant coach under Jodi Gault. Coach Yesenosky, a 1978 graduate of Slippery Rock University, assists in all aspects of the Lady Cat program. She plays a vital role in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes, and she co-directs the Pitt Johnstown Lady Cat Summer Basketball Camps. Yesenosky is also the author of The Lady Cat Express, the team's newsletter, and she assists in publishing the annual Lady Cat Media Guide.
Prior to arriving at Pitt Johnstown, Coach Yesenosky was a standout head coach at Bishop Carroll High School in Ebensburg, Pa. for eight seasons. She posted a 184-60 record and led Bishop Carroll to the 1987 PIAA Class 'A' State Championship. Her teams also won four District VI titles and made five appearances in the PIAA State Quarterfinals. Fifteen of her players went on to play at the college or university level, including Maureen Latterner, who became a two-time All-American at Pitt Johnstown. Also at Bishop Carroll High School, Yesenosky coached Sue Panek, a former assistant coach with the WNBA's Charlotte Sting.

Coach Yesenosky's talent earned her the right to coach several high school all-star teams, including the Big John Riley Classic and the Pennsylvania Keystone State Games.
A highly motivational coach, Yesensoky is often a keynote speaker at banquets and clinics throughout the state of Pennsylvania.
