Please refer to the following information regarding move-in for the Fall 2009 semester. Please use the information most appropriate to your situation. This information will also be included in a more detailed manner with your housing assignment letter. This information is also available as a downloadable document in the sections below.
First Year Students
Date: Thursday, August 27, 2009
Times: 7:00am - 11:00am
All First Year students should report to their assigned residence hall for check-in. You will receive your room key and all check-in materials there. Assistance will be available to move your items ino your room for you. Please label all belongs with your name, building name, and room number.

New Student Orientation Schedule (August 27 - 30)
Returning, Re-Locating, Re-Instated, and Transfer Students
Date: Sunday, August 30, 2009
Times: 8:00am - 10:00pm
Students will report to their assigned facility for check-in. Please DO NOT expect to arrive before 8:00 a.m. Sunday, August 30, 2009. No exceptions will be made due to the on-going orientation activities and arrival of the First Year students which requires all staff to focus on the first-year halls. As such, no upperclass residential facilities will be open for check-in prior to Sunday, August 30, 2009.

The Office of Housing and Residence Life wants you to be comfortable while you are part of our community. We suggest you download the document below for use in deciding what you want to bring with you to campus. We also encourage you to contact your roommate(s) and decide between yourselves who will bring what items to avoid duplicating items.
Also included in this document is a list of items that you will need to leave at home. Due to the nature of our facilities and a need to consider safety/security concerns, you may not be able to bring every type of item you would like.
