Article Body
On February 23, 2006, the Diversity Working Group held the Iron Chef Contest, sponsored by Sodexho Food Services. Contestants demonstrated their culinary prowess using either chicken or potato and a host of other secret ingredients. WJAC weather announcer Jim Burton hosted the evening while judges taste tested entrees made by nine teams. Contestants donned aprons which read, "
UPJ Iron Chef Competition: If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen
". Each entry was evaluated in taste, temperature, presentation, creativity and sanitation. We are pleased to announce the winners of the 2006 Iron Chef Contest.
