Men's Golf Debuts With Sixth Place Showing at Glenville State/Oxbow Spring Invitational
03/17/06...Head Coach Eric Kinsey and the Mountain Cat men's golf team made it's NCAA Division II debut with a sixth place showing at the 2006 Glenville State College/Oxbow Spring Invitational at the Oxbow Golf and Country Club in Belpre, OH on Thursday and Friday.
Pitt Johnstown's five golfers finished with a team total of 702 strokes over the two-day tournament. Ohio Valley (WV) University won the team competition with a 604. Bryan McHugh's (Ebensburg, Pa.) 162 (82-80) for a tie for 13th place led the Mountain Cats, while Brad Kohr (Johnstown, Pa.) ended the tournament in 23rd place with a 168 (87-81).
Pitt Johnstown will be back in action on April 10-11 at the 2006 Fairmont State (WV) College Invitational.
