The following is a list of useful websites for obtaining University of Pittsburgh-provided software and for outside vendor anti-virus and anti-spyware software and updates (note that some outside vendor software is free but most will charge for downloading and usage). This list of links was accurate as of August 20, 2009. Also, note that we can only provide help/support for University-provided software.
Remember that all the protective software in the world is useless unless you update it and use it regularly and practice “safe computing practices”. The safety of your computer is your responsibility and yours alone!
