Financial Aid Workshop to be held Feb. 16

The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Financial Aid Office will hold a financial aid workshop from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, February 16, at the UPJ Living Learning Center’s Heritage Hall.

The workshop, which is free of charge and open to parents and students, will explain the application process, financial aid programs and loan information.

UPJ financial aid representatives will be available to answer any individual concerns and to answer any questions that families may have regarding the financial aid process.

Founded in 1927, the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown is a four-year, degree-granting college of the University of Pittsburgh with an enrollment of approximately 3,200.  The university offers more than 40 majors and is known for its engineering technology, education, humanities, natural and social sciences degree programs.  UPJ has been ranked “Third in the North,” among public comprehensive colleges and universities, northern region, by U.S. News and World Report, America’s Best Colleges, 2006.
