Mountain Cat Chris Gilliam Tabbed Independent Basketball Player of the Week

For the third time this season, Mountain Cat sophomore forward
Chris Gilliam (Baltimore, MD)
has been named Independent Collegiate Athletic Association (ICAA) Men's Basketball Player of The Week for the week ending January 8.
Gilliam
averaged 17.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in three victories to help Pitt Johnstown extend it winning streak to a team-record 11 games and improve to 11-2 on the season.
Along with his points and rebounds,
Gilliam
shot 63.1% (23-37) from the field and 75.0% (6-8) from the free-throw line.
Gilliam
scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds in an 88-43 win over West Virginia Wesleyan on January 2, before added seven points and 10 rebounds in the January 4 ,60-49, victory over Shippensburg University.
Gilliam
finished the week with 21 points on 9-12 shooting from the field and three rebounds in just 16 minutes in a lopsided 118-46 win against Columbia Union (MD) College on January 7.
