Men's Soccer Falls, 2-0, at #21 Shepherd University in Season Finale
10/30/05...Head Coach Eric Kinsey and the Pitt Johnstown men's soccer team ended the 2005 season with a tough, 2-0, loss at #21-ranked Shepherd (WV) University Sunday afternoon. The Mountain Cats, who finished the season with a 4-13-1 overall record, got seven saves from senior goal keeper Steve Weimer (Scottdale, Pa.) in the loss.
Pitt Johnstown fell behind 1-0 at the 35:40 mark of the first half on a goal by Shepherd's Jamie Ritchie. The scored remained the same until Emmanuuel Elomobor found the back of the net in the 69th minute to set the final score at 2-0. With the victory, Shepherd improved to 16-2-1 on the year.
