At Stafford (VA) High School Devlin is anxiously anticipating her opportunity to return to competition on the basketball court. In her sophomore year at Stafford High School, she was sidelined with an ACL injury which she diligently worked to rehab in preparation of her junior season. Coach Gault recruited Devlin throughout her high school career before she was involved in a horrific, life threatening automobile accident which ended her scholastic career. Devlin’s recovery from the multitude of physical injuries is nothing short of miraculous. Coach Gault was impressed with Devlin’s courage and continued to recruit her. She is now a welcomed member of the Lady Cat program. Devlin will red-shirt during the 2005-06 season. Devlin serves as a daily reminder to the team of triumph over tragedy. Her return to competition will be a deserved reward to this valiant athlete. Prior to sitting out her senior season with an injury, Devlin averaged 9.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game as a junior in 2003-05. Devlin, a two-year starter, was also a two-time Second Team All-Area selection and a two-time Potomac News Second Team All-District choice. In addition, vapreps.com named her one of the top 20 players in the state three consecutive years. Devlin is the daughter of Barney and Kim Reiley. She played for former Lady Cat standout Julie Dill-Hinckley at Stafford High School in Virginia.
