Mountain Cat Soccer Earns 5-2 Victory at Lancaster Bible

Mountain Cat soccer team erased a 2-0 halftime deficit at Lancaster Bible College Saturday afternoon with five second half goals improve to earn a 5-2 victory and improve to 3-8-1 on the season.
     Freshman forward Drew Yeingst (Stevens, Pa.) got Pitt Johnstown on the scoreboard 15 minutes into the second half off of an assist by sophomore defender Alex Gatti (Indiana, Pa.).  From that point on, the Mountain Cats cruised.  Sophomore midfielder Chris Hawkins (Scottdale, Pa.) scored two consecutive goals, including one off of a penalty kick.  Freshman forward Brad Walker (Leechburg, Pa.) found the back of the net to make it 4-1 in favor of Pitt Johnstown, before fellow freshman forward Jason Swope (Indiana, Pa.) added the match's final goal on another penalty kick.  Freshman midfielder Shane Hejmanowski (Dillsburg, Pa.) collected two assists, and senior goalkeeper Steve Weimer (Scottdale, Pa.) only had to make one save in the win.  
     The Mountain Cats return home to host Salem International (WV) University as part of a doubleheader with the Lady Cats on Wednesday.  The Lady Cats play at 2:30 p.m., followed by the Mountain Cats at 4:30 p.m.
