AT PITT JOHNSTOWNMarcus will make his Mountain Cat debut in 2005-06 after red-shirting as a freshman.
At Greater Johnstown High School Marcus averaged 13 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three blocked shots per game as a senior under Head Coach Dan Shipman at Greater Johnstown High School. Marcus, along with William Sharpe, led Greater Johnstown to 25-4 overall record, a Laurel Highlands Conference Championship, a District VI Championship and a trip to the Second Round of the 2004 AAA Pennsylvania State Playoffs. Following his senior season, Marcus was named First Team All-District VI. He was also a two-time All-Laurel Highlands Conference selection. In addition, Marcus was selected to play in the 2004 Big John Riley Classic.
