AT PITT JOHNSTOWNQuinton will make his Mountain Cat debut in 2005-06 after red-shirting as a freshman.
At West Mifflin Area High School Quinton played for former Pitt Johnstown assistant basketball coach Lance Maha at West Mifflin Area High School where he averaged 14 points, six rebounds and three assists per game as a senior. Quinton, a senior team captain, was named a 2004 AAAA Section V All-Star and was selected to play in the Chartiers Valley Hoops for Cure All-Star Game where he scored 17 points and added five rebounds and four assists. He scored a career-high 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds against South Allegheny High School during the 2003-04 season. Quinton also graduated from high school with honors and earned the Dan Filo Scholarship for the combination of best athlete with the best academics. At Pitt Johnstown, Quinton is a member the Student Senate.
