2004-05 Season
     In 22 games-played, Nick averaged 5.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.  His 28 three-point field goals made were fourth on the team.  Nick also shot 37.5% (39-104) from the field, 36.4% (28-77) from behind the three-point line and 82.6% (19-23) from the free-throw line.  Through three seasons, Nick has made 57 of his 62 free-throw attempts for 91.9%.  He scored in double-figures four times in 2004-05, including a season-high of 15 points against Alderson-Broaddus (WV) College on 11/24/04.   Nick enters his senior season ranked third on the Mountain Cat All-Time Three-Point Field Goals Made List with 130.  Four times in his Mountain Cat career, Nick has made six three-point field goals in a game.  He also has 559 career points.  In his first three seasons at Pitt Johnstown, Nick has posted highs of 22 points against Clarion University on 11/22/03, four rebounds against Davis & Elkins (WV) College on 11/19/04 and four rebounds against Lock Haven University on 02/23/05 and five assists against Davis & Elkins College on 11/19/04.

2003-04 Season
     After joining the starting line-up midway through the season, Nick proved to be one of the top shooting guards in NCAA Division II.  Nick played in 26 games and started 15 games.  He finished third in the nation in Three-Point Field Goal Percentage at 52.8% (65-123).  Along with leading the Mountain Cats in three-point field goal percentage (52.8%) and three-point field goals made (65), Nick also made 27 of his 28 free-throw attempts to lead the team at 96.4%.  In his first two seasons, he made 38 of 39 (97.4%) free-throws.  Nick also finished second on the team in field goal percentage at 55.4% and third in scoring at 10.6 ppg. Five times Nick led Pitt Johnstown in scoring during the 2003-04 season.  Nick also made six three-point field goals in a game three separate times as a sophomore. 

2002-03 Season
     Nick played in all 27 games and made seven starts.   He averaged 5.9 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.  Nick made 37 three-point field goals, including a 6-for-6 performance from three-point range against Brescia (KY) University on 11/29/02.  He was also 11-11 from the free-throw line against Brescia.  He posted season highs of 18 points against Brescia, three rebounds against Bowie State (MD) University on 01/25/03 and three assists against Bloomsburg University on 02/24/03.


At Westmont Hilltop High School
     Nick played for Head Coach Dave Roman Jr. at Westmont Hilltop High School where he finished his career as the school’s second all-time leading scorer with 1,456 points.  He averaged 18.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game as a senior on his way to being named First Team All-Laurel Highlands Conference and a Big John Riley All-Star selection.  Nick also shot 52.2% from the field, 46.5% from three-point range and 89.5% from the free-throw line during the 2001-02 season.  He holds school records for three-point field goals made in a season (93), three-points field goals made in a career (230), three-point field goal percentage in a season (46.5%) and three-point field goal percentage in a career (45.8%).  Nick was a three-year starter and three-year recipient of the Skip Pristow Outstanding Basketball Player Award.  He helped lead his team to the 2000 District VI Championship.  Nick was also named Most Valuable Player of the Windber Rotary Tournament and to the All-Tournament teams at the Pitt-Johnstown Mountain Cat Tournament and the Hilltopper Classic Tournament.
