The 2005 UPJ Homecoming Queen and her court were announced in a ceremony held Saturday, October 1, on the stage outside the Owen Library on Student Union Drive.

	Carrie Anne Young, a senior marketing major and daughter of Jim and Mary Gay Abbott-Young of Fairless Hills, Pa., sponsored by Alpha Sigma Alpha, was crowned the 2005 University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Homecoming Queen.
	Lindsay Camino, a senior communication major and daughter of Mike and Jill Camino of Pittsburgh, sponsored by the UPJ Student Senate, first runner-up.
	Brittney Gradkowski, a senior elementary education major and daughter of Bruce and Debbie Gradkowski of Pittsburgh, sponsored by the Education Club, second runner-up.
	Ashley Bier, a senior secondary education-chemistry major and daughter of James and Deborah Bier III of Butler, sponsored by the Chemical Society, third runner-up.
Other contest winners were: Student Window Painting Circle K and Pittsburgh Japanese Anime Club, tied for first place the UPJ Concert Choir, second place Outdoors Club, third place Float Competition UPJ Dance Ensemble, first place Alpha Gamma Delta, second place UPJ Student Senate, third place
