2009 President's Staff Awards for Excellence in Service

I am proud and honored to continue the President’s Staff Awards for Excellence in Service - a rich legacy created years ago to celebrate the tremendous accomplishments of our valuable staff at Pitt-Johnstown.  I encourage you to nominate staff members who continually exhibit an enthusiastic spirit of dedication in their work and exceptional community volunteerism.
 
You are welcome to nominate employees for the following awards:

  • Award for Excellence in Service to Pitt-Johnstown - recognizes staff members whose commitment and perseverance to Pitt-Johnstown have made a substantial organizational impact.
  • Award for Excellence in Service to the Community – acknowledges staff members whose work have gone beyond the boundaries of Pitt-Johnstown and have made an extensive impression in the community.


All staff, faculty, students, and alumni of Pitt-Johnstown may submit nominations for both awards.  Additionally, members of the community at large are invited to submit nominations for the Award for Excellence in Service to the Community.  

All nominations should be submitted to Christian J. Stumpf, chair of the Selection Committee, no later than Monday, November 30, 2009.  Nomination packets can be downloaded by clicking on the appropriate link on the right.
 
Thanks to the work that our staff contributes to our institution and to our community, Pitt-Johnstown has earned a well-deserved reputation for excellence. I appreciate your participation in this process by nominating a worthy staff member as we continue to build on our strong foundation of excellence and service.  I look forward to presenting the awards at our annual staff luncheon.
