We are delighted to report that the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown has partnered with The Learning Lamp to offer the 2014 Learning, Enrichment, and Recreation Network (LEARN) Program! This year’s program will be held the week of July 14-18 on the Pitt-Johnstown campus.
This new partnership brings together two outstanding institutions committed to meeting the educational needs of our community. For those of you who might not be familiar with The Learning Lamp, the Johnstown-based organization serves the educational needs of more than 13,000 children annually by working with families and schools. The Learning Lamp is also offering a number of other educational programs for children of all ages this summer. If you are interested in more information, please call The Learning Lamp at 814-262-0732 or visit thelearninglamp.org.
If you attended LEARN last year, information on this year’s LEARN program will be mailed directly to you from The Learning Lamp in March. All registrations and payments will also be processed by The Learning Lamp. We are very excited about this new chapter in LEARN’s 33-year history. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Brittni McKolosky at The Learning Lamp at 814-262-0732 or the Outreach Office at 814-269-2099.
A limited number of volunteer opportunities will be available for LEARN alumni interested in serving as group leaders. To volunteer, please contact The Learning Lamp.
