This position is a three-year renewable contract outside the tenure stream. The successful candidate will teach 4 courses per semester in the Freshman Composition and ESL programs. PhD preferred, Master’s degree (M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition, M.A.T. in English, or M.Ed.) is required along with Advanced (Level-3) TESOL Certification. Other qualifications include college teaching experience in Freshman Composition courses and in ESL courses; evidence of teaching excellence; demonstrable experience designing assessment programs in composition and ESL; academic administrative experience. The position includes benefits, and the salary is competitive. Starting date is August 2014.
