A non-tenure-track position beginning August 2014.
Teaching load is four courses (12 credits) per semester. MBA or Master’s degree in relevant field required; teaching experience at the college level required; extensive professional experience in an upper level management role or experience in innovation and new venture development desirable; advanced graduate study beyond the Master’s also desirable.
Teaching responsibilities include four courses each academic semester. Courses that may be taught include Principles of Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management and related courses, and entrepreneurship and business innovation. The successful candidate will also be expected to assist in all departmental operations, including academic advising and career counseling, and to engage in appropriate professional development.
The Department of Business offers four-year undergraduate degree programs with concentrations in accounting (financial accounting and managerial accounting tracks), finance, information systems, general management (with a human resources track), and marketing. Principles of Management is taken by all Business majors.
