Adjunct Instructor - Instructional Technology

The Education Division of Pitt-Johnstown is seeking candidates for an adjunct position in Instructional Technology beginning fall 2013. We are seeking candidates with proven teaching skills and abilities. This position offers opportunities to teach undergraduate courses in Instructional Technology for education majors and in-service teacher practitioners.

The position requires at least a Masters degree in Instructional Technology or an education related field with considerable experience in instructional technology. Preferred qualifications include: experience in K-12 education or training setting; experience in undergraduate teaching; experience teaching online courses; practical instructional design and technology skills including the use of tablets, smart boards, social media, and online platforms; skills in areas related to teacher technology competencies; ability to integrate 21st century skills and PA common core standards within instruction; and a demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.
