     04/27/13... (Game 1) (Game 2) After dropping the opener 13-8, Kyle Morrow's (McVeytown, Pa.) two-out, three-run, walk-off homerun in the bottom of the seventh inning lifted the Mountain Cats to a 6-4 win and a split of a WVIAC Northern Division doubleheader with Shepherd (WV) University, Saturday night at Point Stadium.  In the process, Head Coach Todd Williams earned his 400th career victory at the helm of the Pitt-Johnstown program.  The Mountain Cats are now 26-19 overall and 14-15 in conference-play.
     Trailing 4-3 with two outs in the seventh, Sam Barbera (Harrisburg, Pa.) legged out a double.  Mike Palkovitz (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) walked, and Morrow belted the three-run homer over the left field screen to propel Pitt-Johnstown to the 6-4 win.
     Jeff Campbell (Brackenridge, Pa.) was 3-for-3 with an RBI, while Matt McGee (Beech Creek, Pa.) had a pair of hits, and Nate Pope (Hollidaysburg, Pa.) hit a solo homerun to lead the Mountain Cats.
     Derek Younker (Big Cove Tannery, Pa.) went the distance for the Mountain Cats.  Younker allowed four runs on 14 hits to improve to 8-4.  He also struck out six and didn't allow a walk.
     In game one, Shepherd broke open a 7-7 game with four runs in the sixth and two more in the seventh to secure the 13-8 win.
     Jake Warner (Dillsburg, Pa.) had three hits, including a double and two RBI, and Palkovitz and Campbell each had two hits and drove in two.  Morrow and McGee also had two hits apiece for Pitt-Johnstown.
     Nate Plummer (Bellwood, Pa.) suffered the loss in relief after surrendering four runs on five hits in three innings.
     With the split, Shepherd is now 25-18 overall and 21-8 in the WVIAC Northern Division.
     The Mountain Cats close out the regular season with a nine-inning game against Shepherd on Sunday at 1 p.m. Point Stadium.  Prior to the game, Pitt-Johnstown will honor seniors Jeff Campbell, Drew Ebersole, and Kody Reighard prior to the game.
