     03/28/13... (Game 1) (Game 2) Jeff Campbell (Brackenridge, Pa.) and Zach Vignero (Johnstown, Pa.) each belted a pair of homeruns to lead the Mountain Cats to a 12-6 and 7-0 WVIAC doubleheader sweep over Glenville State (WV) College, Thursday at the Point Stadium.  Pitt-Johnstown improved to 14-8 overall and 5-5 in the WVIAC Northern Division.
     In game one, the Mountain Cats fell behind 3-0 in the first inning, but outscored Glenville State 12-3 the rest of the way to secure the 12-6 win.
     Campbell belted a pair of two-run homeruns, and Vignero homered, double twice and drove in three.  Jake Warner (Dillsburg, Pa.) (2 doubles), Drew Ebersole (Martinsburg, Pa.) (double and triple), and Nate Sabados (DuBois, Pa.) (double) all added two hits.
     Nate Plummer (Bellwood, Pa.) picked up his first win of the season after allowing two runs on three hits in two innings of relief.  Logan Fluke (Everett, Pa.) tossed the final two innings to earn his first collegiate save.
     In game two, Nate Pope (Hollidaysburg, Pa.) surrendered just one hit in six scoreless innings to improve to 2-0.  Pope walked three and struck out five.
     Vignero went 2-for-3 with a solo homer and a triple, while Warner led off the bottom of the first inning with a homer, before addinng an RBI double.
     With the losses, Glenville State fell to 1-24 overall and 0-14 in the wVIAC Southern Division.
     The Mountain Cats host a three-game WVIAC Northern Division series against Seton Hill University on Friday and Saturday at 1 p.m. at Johnstown's Point Stadium, before traveling to the University of Charleston (WV) for a conference doubleheader on Tuesday.
