     03/20/13... (Game 1) (Game 2) Jake Warner (Dillsburg, Pa.) went 6-for-10 with a homerun and four RBI to lead the Mountain Cats to a 10-6 and 14-1 WVIAC doubleheader sweep at Ohio Valley (WV) University on Wednesday.  Pitt-Johnstown improved to 12-5 overall and 3-2 in the WVIAC Northern Division.
     In the opener, the Mountain Cats scored four runs in the seventh inning, including a two-run double-by Sam Barbera (Harrisburg, Pa.) that gave Pitt-Johnstown the lead, in the 10-6 victory.
     Matt McGee (Beech Creek, Pa.) belted a three-run homer and Warner doubled and singled twice.  Barbera finished with two hits and three RBI, and Zach Vignero (Johnstown, Pa.) collected two hits.
     Ryan Socol (Pittsburgh, Pa.) picked-up the win in relief after allowing one run on two hits over the final two innings.  Nate Pope (Hollidaysburg, Pa.) pitched the first five innings and gave up five earned runs on seven hits.
     In the nightcap, Warner led off the game with a homer, before Pitt-Johnstown broke open a one-run game with 12 runs over the final three innings to secure the 14-1 win.
     Warner had three more hits, including a homerun and a double, while Mike Palkovitz (Mechanicsburg, Pa.) homered, doubled, and drove in three.  Jeff Campbell (Brackenridge, Pa.) was 3-for-3 with a homerun, a double, and three RBI.
     Kody Reighard (Salix, Pa.) pitched five strong innings to earn the win.  Reighard surrendered one run and scattered four hits.  He also fanned five.
     Ohio Valley dropped to 3-11 overall and 0-4 in the WVIAC Southern Division.
     The Mountain Cats will travel to Washington, Pa. to play a three-game WVIAC series against West Liberty (WV) University on Saturday and Sunday, before hosting a conference doubleheader against Glenville State (WV) College on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Johnstown's Point Stadium.
