Personal Statement: "Throughout my career I have found that my Pitt-Johnstown education has served me very well, especially the basic foundation in geology that I received there. I've been able to compete on equal footing with geologists from much better known schools with much larger geology departments over the past 17 years. I have always attributed this to the quality of the geology professors at Pitt-Johnstown for which I consider myself very fortunate to have studied under."

"I hope that future Pitt-Johnstown geology students consider a career in the petroleum industry. While there ceratinly have been some ups and downs in my career, I find the work and travel extremely rewarding and the financial compensation is becoming extremely attractive as global resources become harder to find and develop."
