Kaitlynn Fratz Co-WVIAC Player of the Week Again

In Monday's 10-point win at Shepherd (WV) University, Fratz connected for a team-high 24 points, including a 14-of-14 effort from the free-throw line. She also dished out six assists, grabbed three rebounds, and had a steal.
In just 18 minutes of playing time against Alderson-Broaddus on Thursday, Fratz amassed nine points and was perfect from the floor. She made both field goals, including a three-point shot. In addition, she was 4-4 from the free-throw line. Fratz had six assists, two steals and a rebnound in the 38-point win.
Southworth, a 5’10” junior guard from Twinsburg, Ohio, guided the Hilltoppers to a 2-1 week and has helped the squad win four of its last five outings.
In the win over Bluefield State, Southworth connected for a game-high 26 points while totaling six rebounds and three assists. At West Virginia State, she netted 26 points and grabbed eight boards to go along with three steals and three assists. Southworth went for 25 points in a win over Seton Hill. She also had three steals in the contest. For the three games, Southworth averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.3 steals and two assists per game. She is currently the second-leading scorer in Division II.
