Head Coach Linda Renzi

ATH05_BIO_216_RewnziL1     Linda Renzi was named head coach of the Lady Cat volleyball team in 2005 after spending the 2002 and 2003 seasons as an assistant coach and the 2004 season as the interim head coach. Coach Renzi, who replaced Clyde Horner when he retired, is a very highly respected and decorated coach in the volleyball community. 
     Through eight seasons at the program's helm, Coach Renzi has posted an overall record of 118-111. She also guided the Lady Cats to the quarterfinals of the WVIAC Tournament in 2007 and 2010.
     Prior to her arrival at Pitt-Johnstown, Coach Renzi spent 30 years at Richland High School in Johnstown, where she led the girls volleyball team to seven PIAA State Volleyball Championships and five Runner-up finishes. In addition, her girls' teams claimed 25 District VI titles and 28 league and conference crowns. Coach Renzi also had success leading the Richland High School boy's volleyball team to seven District VI championships.
     Coach Renzi has earned induction into a pair of Halls of Fame. In 2002, Coach Renzi was inducted into the Cambria County Area Sports Hall of Fame, and in 1995, she was inducted into the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Hall of Fame.
