At ARCHBISHOP ALTER High School
     Jake Laravie, a two-year letterman for Head Coach Joe Petrocelli at Archbishop Alter High School, was a District 15 All-Star and an Ohio Associated Press All-Southwest District Special Mention.  Laravie, a two-time All-Greater Catholic League selection, averaged 12.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per game for his career.  His 86% (111-129) career free-throw percentage, 90.9% free-throw shooting in a season, and 50.6% shooting from three-point range in a season are all school records.   Laravie also ranks fifth on the Archbishop Alter career three-point field goal percentage list at 43.5%.  He posted career-highs of 26 points at Fairmont High School on Jan. 29, 2011 and 10 rebounds at LaSalle High School on Feb. 10, 2012.  Laravie also dished out seven assists and hit 10-13 from three-point range against Pinecrest (GA) High School on Dec. 29, 2011.  Laravie, who also earned one letter on the baseball team, garnered Second-Honors Senior Year Academics.  In addition, Laravie's uncles, Jim and John Paxson, are both former NBA players.
